Have a 2005 chevy equinox. Having issue with starting the vehicle. Will start ok some times and others its a bear to start. Have had to press on gas peddle to get started. I had my 2005 chevy equinox for 2 weeks. It starting having starting problems, when idling, sounded like it wanted to shut off. Took it to a gm dealer. Turns out the egr needed to be replaced and pcm needed reprogrammed. Exactly fits nhtsa item number : 10017551 however, my vehicle doesn't fit in the range that gm decided was faulty. 2006 chevy equinox fuel gauges does not read accurate. When full it reads 3/4 of tank to 1/2. It will then go to almost full as gas goes down. I noticed there are numerous complaints online about this problem from others. This should be a recall item as it is not safe when you don't know how much fuel you have.
