At 87000 miles the engine had timing issue and valves mad piston contact. At 90000 miles engine had pcv valve freeze up and push main seal out of engine. Both are known recall issues but according to chevy my vin isn't included in these recalls. The engine is now using 2 quarts per thousand miles.
