    Visibility/Wiper

On 1/16/20, i used my windshield wipers to clear snow off of my windshield while the car was stationary. It wiped correctly a few times, but on the fourth wipe, i heard a 'thwack' type of noise, and the wipers stopped in an upright position by the driver's side. I tried to turn the wipers on again, but they would not move. I manually pushed the wipers down into the resting position, and then tried to turn the wipers…

I was driving down the interstate with my daughter in my car in heavy traffic with construction all around and it began to rain heavily so i turned on the wipers and the wipers went up and stopped right in front of my face, i couldn't see anything. This is a very serious safety issue people could have been killed! How does this happen with no warning light or alarm or anything. I was terrified!

My husband and i were headed home from ashtabula during a heavy rain storm on a state highway 528 n of parkman, traveling approx 45 mph, when the wiper blades abruptly quit working! We were in amish territory (as in the possibility of approaching horse-drawn buggies) and our visibility was instantly reduced to zero. While traveling at 65 mph during a rain storm, the windshield wipers suddenly stopped working. After getting the vehicle home, we discovered the wiper linkage had failed.
