Chevy equinox 2014 engine died when idling or at a stop. Happened frequently while in slow traffic. Happened when making left turn across two lanes of oncoming traffic. Error code p0010 and p0011. Problem was caused by camshaft actuator solenoid valve.

I have my oil changed regularly and this last time i wasn't into the oil change more then 1000 miles and it started making a noise and stalling out took it in and there was no oil in it so they changed it for me but it continues to stall then my engine light came on had it tested and it doesn't show any issues. The stalling happens when i'm at a stop or just slowing down and also backing up.

Takata recall. Engine light is on says its the flex fuel sensor recalls on 2013 models so i believe its an on going problem and believe it still needs to be recalled it also has a rough idle when first started dk if thats caused by the flex fuel but the remote start wont work with engine light on

When going in reverse, or coming off a red light or stop sign, the vehicle will suddenly stall out. While it starts up right away, this is a safety issue, especially if you have to get out of the way. My vehicle has done this about 4-6 times over the past year. Chevy says there is nothing wrong, and there are no warning lights on the vehicle. All the electrical components work, however the vehicle just turns off.
