At seemingly random times the vehicle's cameras stop working. When this happens and the vehicle is in reverse gear, a blue screen with the message ' service rear vision system' appears. Cameras do not work part of time. Backup camera shows blue screen when not working and says service rear vision system. Forward cameras only show blue screen. By time vehicle is at dealer cameras are working and nothing shows a problem. Nothing specific makes the problem happen and nothing specific makes it go away. The problem is random, but significantly reduces situational awareness.

I found that this model car and other manufacturers with push to start and stop can be turned off in any gear and you can walk away from the car with out an alarm or any notification. I have seen cars roll when left on a slope. Key ignition cars don't let you remove the keys when the car is not in park.
